This would be the only evidence that she'd ever been there. My guess would be that someone copying data made a mistake in transferring records? If the ages given at marriage are correct the wedding probably took place 1888, not 1886. |

Cemetery data (internet) indicates her birth was 25 July 1863 (gravestone is worn but appears to be 1868). There is also a photograph taken C. 1871, with 3 children. Willie is obviously the oldest and 2 girls would appear to be the appropriate age for Rebecca and Carrie (if born 1868). In a letter to her sister Nettie, dated Sept. 1933, Carrie gives her own age as 65, which would make the year of her birth 1868. Census data gives her age as 11 in 1880. |
